Great work by LTT. The trigger is very smooth and breaks cleanly. It's hard to go back to a striker-fired gun after shooting this.

    92 Elite LTT

Posted by Curt Batie on Oct 12th 2018

All I can say is if you’re even considering buying one, quit thinking about it and just do it. Mine has the trigger job by Ernest and Spartan sights. Other reviewers have said it, the trigger is simply amazing. On the first range trip I got the impression that I was shooting it better than my PX4CC mod 5, the second confirmed it side by side against the timer. Mine has 1100 flawless rounds through it, with the last 650 since the last cleaning. The SIGs and HKs will be spending a lot more time in the safe. Also, no review would be complete without a shout out to Aimee and her endless patience with my questions about sights, etc. It’s always a pleasure doing business with Langdon Tactical.

    Fantastic

Posted by Scott Harper on Oct 3rd 2018

I don’t have a long history with the Beretta 92, however I once owned both the Wilson Combat Brig Tac And Centurion models they offer and was very impressed. Ultimately I couldn’t justify the price I paid and ended up selling them both and went back to striker fired guns. There was something inside me that missed those guns though and I started regretting my decision. About this time is when the LTT came out and when I saw what Ernest had created I knew I had to give the 92 another go. I currently have 1500 flawless rounds through the pistol and couldn’t be happier with my decision. I’m all in on this gun now and will be using it in IDPA (and possibly USPSA) for the foreseeable future. It’s a great looking gun first of all, and it shoots as good as it looks. The sights, grips and trigger are all fantastic which in my book are 3 of the most important things. I’m very happy I decided to make this purchase and look forward to seeing where this gun can take me in my shooting endeavors. Ernest has a real winner with this pistol, and when you couple that with he and his wife’s customer service you cannot go wrong.

    New 92LTT

Posted by Mike on Sep 22nd 2018

Overall happy with the gun but to be honest I am very disappointed. I do like the gun and its features.. Very smooth and beautiful shooting pistol. I installed the trigger job in a bag on mine the day I got it. While disassembling the gun to install the trigger job I noticed that the slide stop spring is substandard. The spring is extremely thin, too thin, While it does function today and may continue to function for a while, there is no doubt that it will break well before it should. I clean my guns thoroughly , often, and I will be taking the slide stop off a few times a month . This spring is guaranteed to fail. I dont understand why you would save a dollar or less on a spring and leave your customers disappointed. I should not have to order a new spring the day I receive my new $1000 pistol. Seems like a very bad business decision. A++ on the design and features. D on following up on the details in the final product being shipped to your customers. RESPONSE FROM LANGDON TACTICAL: Mike, Glad you got your firearm and like it. Sorry to hear you're disappointed in the slide stop spring. It's the same slide stop spring that has been used and shipped in Beretta 92's and M9's for 30+ years. We have been shooting them in and out of the military since 1986 and have never broken a slide stop spring. There is no need to take the slide stop off the gun multiple times a month for cleaning. It's not a necessary step in the gun-cleaning process. Are you having a problem with the slide stop spring now or the slide stop in general? If so, please contact us.

    First Impressions....Outstanding

Posted by Ken Sakata on Sep 21st 2018

Picked up a 92 Elite LTT with trigger job today and am thoroughly impressed from start to finish. I ordered the pistol on a Sunday; lead times stated ~3 days for a trigger job. The pistol shipped Monday, and arrived at the FFL on Wednesday. Amazing. I wish I could say the same about the FFL on the receiving end, but I won't go into detail about an aspect that was neither the fault of Langdon Tactical or the pistol itself. Haven't had a chance to shoot the pistol yet, but will share. my initial impressions. The pistol is Beretta quality, as expected. This 92, on the other hand, is something else. I thought my M9A3 was nice (it still is), but Langdon Tactical takes the 92 series to a whole new level. I don't have a trigger gauge, but subjectively I'd say the DA weigh is easily under 10 pounds, smooth all the way through, and with minimal to no stacking as it approaches the break point. SA reset is short, crisp, and the pull is clean without any creep. I'd subjectively place it at around 3-4 pounds. The sights are the type I'm starting to prefer -- blacked out, wide notch rear with a narrow high visibility fiber optic front sight. One of the things I really like on my M9A3 is the front and back strap checkering, and the Elite LTT delivers the same on both. The grip panels are aggressive, but not excessively so, and provide excellent purchase. Add in all metal parts/controls, extended mag release, and type-G decocker only and you've got a really nice, high end semi-custom pistol. The M9A3 is able to keep 25/25 in the 0 ring of an IDPA target at 25 yards, and 20/25 in the 0 ring at 50 yards in my hands...can't wait to see what the Elite 92 LTT is capable of.

    Beretta 92 Elite LTT

Posted by Gene Rogers on Sep 20th 2018

I took delivery of my second Elite this week and this one is going in the safe, #500. I think this will be the all time finest custom 92 ever. I've got 1,200 rounds through my first and what a pure shooter. I'm not a stranger to the Langdon trigger, I have a pair of PX4 Compact Carry Mod 4's, a PX4 full size and a couple stock 92's with Langdon triggers and there is nothing that can compare. I have Sigs and HK's worked over by some of the best(you know who they are) and a Brig and Centurion that went through Wilson. All nice pistols now but the Langdon trigger is in a different class. Business with LTT is a pleasure with Aimee at the helm of communication and customer service and a phone call from Ernie is always a great thing. Keep the products coming but in the meantime the 92 Elite LTT is the best bargain on the custom pistol market today.
